In 1819, François-Louis Cailler opened the first chocolate factory in Switzerland. Soon after, chocolate making in Switzerland earned a reputation for being one of the mainstays of the country’s economy. With the addition of two other prominent chocolatiers, Peter and Kohler, Cailler became an industry leader.
Cailler is situated by lake Gruyère and surrounded by some of the most picturesque mountains in the world. With state-of-of-art production facilities combined with old world traditions, Cailler, the Swiss milk chocolate specialist, now produces since more than 180 years finest high quality chocolate.
Cailler has reneved its entire look&feel with a modern new CI in 2006. All products are currently re-launched in stylish new packagings.
